The Level Sense LS2600 Surface Liquid Sensor is designed to connect to a control device that accepts an analog or digital input. In the unlikely event of "non-conductive" water, adding a small amount of salt around the sensor location can easily rectify the issue by ionizing the water and allowing it to conduct.

When using the LS2600 as an input to an Arduino or Raspberry Pi, it is recommended to use either an analog input or a "PULL UP" input, where the sensor is connected to ground.
