Refined and HomeSeer Z-Wave Plus Long Range Water/Leak Sensor

LS100 G8 is a compact, easy-to-install Z-Wave Plus smart water leak sensor designed to send Z-Wave commands when water is detected or has not been detected for a specific period. This sensor can be used with your smart home hub to issue notifications or automatically control devices, such as smart water valves.

The LS100 G8 is compatible with standard or long-range Z-Wave and supports S2 security, making it straightforward to set up. It can be used to trigger events, or "automations," when water leaks are detected, allowing you to control water valves, receive notifications, or sound alarms.

This leak sensor will send Z-Wave commands when (a) water is detected and (b) when water has not been detected for a user-adjustable period of time. The included optional magnetic mount with a probe enables the LS100 G8 to be wall-mounted away from the leak area. The probe cable can also be used to detect water levels when installed into a container, such as a dehumidifier reservoir, to monitor "full" water conditions.

The LS100 G8 can be used to detect water leaks from sinks, toilets, and appliances. Early detection can save thousands of dollars in water damage repairs. Additionally, the sensor can be used to monitor water levels, with the included probe cable allowing you to track the water level in dehumidifier reservoirs or toilet tanks.

The LS100 G8 supports Z-Wave long-range operation, up to 1 mile (line of sight), making it suitable for detecting water in outbuildings on your property. This feature requires a Z-Wave LR-compatible hub, such as those from HomeSeer, Home Assistant, or Hubitat.
